Vivian
James, a professor at the University of London produced
information on the effects of different performance
enhancing drugs. Here is what she had to say about the human
growth hormone:
A
natural substance produced by the pituitary gland in the
brain, HGH controls muscle and bone growth and reduces the
amount of fat circulating in the body. Again, combined with
exercise it causes muscle growth. A major side effect when
used in large amounts is the onset of fluid retention. It
also alters the way the heart works.
This
was reported in The
Guardian.
More
and more doctors are talking about the benefits of HGH which gives
it credibility. In time, hgh may become a mainstream
substance for use in non performance enhancing instances.
