Marion Jones Upholds Her Stance on Drug-Free Competition
Marion Jones, Olympic track
runner, has been called on to testify because her supplier,
Victor Conte, was found to have performance enhancing
substances in his possession, such as human growth hormone.
Jones states that, "I'm for a drug-free sport, I always
have been and I always will be. That's my position. I've never
taken performance-enhancing drugs and I never will. It's as
simple as that.'' Marion has recently given birth to a son
which has hindered her training, but she expects to be in top
performance shape in time for the competitions.
